Community Adult Learning Center (CALC)

Moncton Headstart has a Community Adult Learning Center (CALC), open to Headstart parents and the larger community under New Brunswick's Community Adult Learning Initiative. Both morning and afternoon classes are offered, and up to eight (8) students per group can be accommodated. The program runs for 33 weeks, and students work at their own pace. One-on-one help is available which contributes greatly to the students' advancement. The program is designed to meet the students’ educational goals up to the GED level, and to enhance their self-esteem.
